Halloween costumes: Here I am, a rabbit hearted girl

October 26, 2011

Finally done with my Halloween costumes. This is the first one, the more complicated to make, and the one I'm likely to wear once Halloween is gone. It began as a conceptual unicorn, upon trying it on though I decided I looked like Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine, so I went with that. I didn't wear shoes for the photos and the ones at night were particularly painful. The weather here has become incredibly chilly.

Top - handmade
Skirt - handmade
Belt - thrifted ($1.50)
Lace bib - from my boyfriend's dressing up box

Also, vote for me! If you're a burdastyle member, please vote, or if you're not registering takes hardly any time and then you get access to a bunch of free patterns. Pretty please? (I have a second entry here, which I'll blog about soon.)

Hello, thanks for taking the time to write a comment. I don't always reply (because I'm too busy hiding under a rock) but I read and appreciate every single one!
