Just another diamond dress

April 30, 2012

I've already named a post after this song, so sue me! It's a funny pun and I like it. (I've been making far too many bad puns lately, it's not normal. Maybe I should go out, after all it is unnatural to be inside.) Having said that, I do have an exam to study for, which is why this will be a quick post. I took a short break to go sit on the roof and drink some chocolate soy milk (the height of class!) Maybe I'll wear this outfit tomorrow, and no, it's not cheating, no one saw me in it. At least no one that will care too much.

Wearing: Dress and belt thrifted from oxfam, jacket from the East End Thrift Store, Urban Outfitters sunglasses, Asos tights, and shoes thrifted in Switzerland.

I should probably explain, I've been putting more links in posts for more clicky fun, not because I'm being paid to. Also, oxfam have an awesome online store so that you can buy awesome cheap vintage (with free shipping too!) I haven't used it but it looks cool. Bonus photo of me in my prescription glasses (Lyle and Scott, not that it really matters).

Also, I've joined twitter and facebook, where I'll be posting pointless updates on my boring life on the former and extra random photos on the latter. Sweet.

  6. Dresses like these are the best: they fit well, are flattering, and make us look awesome without making us look like we tried!

Thanks for your comment on the Bonn/cherry blossom post by the way! I don't think I'll be going back to Bonn any more regularly, which is a shame, but my boyfriend was living there for a year, and for 9 months in Altstadt, which really is just the best little area. What were you doing there?

  7. Oh wow, your photos are AMAZING! Do you take them yourself or have a very talented photographer? Either way, wow. I love the simplicity and palette of this outfit.

    1. Thanks I take most of my photos myself, except in public places, I'm too self-conscious to use a tripod and self-timer on those occasions.

  8. Just found your blog through the link on Calivintage, and I'm glad I did! I really like your style of dressing, and how you write about it. This dress is my favourite on you (of the posts I've read so far), it looks great with the white accessories. Hope your exam went/goes well - I wish I looked this nice when studying!

Hello, thanks for taking the time to write a comment. I don't always reply (because I'm too busy hiding under a rock) but I read and appreciate every single one!
